GETTING STARTED
Getting started is a three step procedure.
- Initial consultation to understand your specific needs and defined
your goals and objectives. The project formally begins with the submission by the client
of the Client
Information Form.
- A written proposal for the Scope of Work will be submitted to the
client which outlines the project's objectives, schedule and outline of the final report.
- After review of the proposal and any desired changes are
incorporated into the Scope of Work the Contract and Non-Disclosure Agreement will be
executed by both parties. Work now begins.
FEES & TERMS
Pro-RepSales Consulting projects can be based on either a
fixed-fee for a specific project or on a monthly retainer. Each project is custom tailored
to the specific needs of the client and will be optimized to provide the most
cost-effective approach.
- Fixed-Fee
A fixed-fee project requires a precisely defined Scope of Work,
one which is well understood by both parties. It will include both a defined time frame
for completion and the specific tasks to be accomplished. This approach provides the
client with a known fixed expenditure and deliverables but it is less flexible. Changes to
both the Scope of Work and the amount of expenditure can be made by contract modification.
These changes must be executed in writing by both parties prior to commencement of the
newly defined Scope of Work.
An initial payment equal to one-half of the agreed to fixed-fee is
due with the executed contract. The balance will be due and payable upon submission of the
project's final report.
- Monthly Retainer
A monthly retainer contract provides the client maximum
flexibility for enabling changes in direction without losing time modifying and approving
contracts. Budget considerations are protected by the use of not-to-exceed monthly
costing. For this arrangement, the Scope of Work is a less rigorously defined document at
the outset. Goals will be set on a monthly basis and month-end progress reports will be
supplied.
The first month's retainer is due with the executed contract.
Subsequent monthly retainer fees will be invoiced the last day of the month and are due
and payable when submitted.
EXPENSES
Expenses will be billed on a monthly basis, usually by the end of
the first week following the month in which the expenses were incurred. Payment of
expenses is due and payable when submitted.
TERMINATION
The client has the right to terminate the contract upon 30 days
written notice. The client will have no liability for charges beyond the end of the
termination period.
RELATIONSHIP
The relationship between the client and the consultant is that of
an independent contractor under a "work for hire" arrangement. Consultant will
not be eligible for any client benefits nor will the client make any deductions from the
client's fee for taxes, insurance or the like.
